3 MUST Read Books to Help You Get Your Money to Work for You

Reading or listening to books is an awesome way to gain knowledge and understanding from others who have already been through what you’re trying to achieve. So naturally, understanding how to take control of your financial future and learning how to get your money to work for you is no different. Following the wisdom and guidance of others through their writing is a form of mentorship that you should take advantage of. It’s a way to get ideas you might not think of and avoid mistakes that they may have already made. The 3 books I listed here have been a great source of knowledge and inspiration for me which I thought I’d share with you. By no means are these books the only books I’ve read (or that you should read) on the subject, but I believe these particular books provide some of the essential building blocks for gaining financial intelligence and the necessary attitude needed for your journey to financial freedom!

  1. Money–Master The Game by Tony Robbins

Money-Master The Game is based on extensive research and interviews with some of the most legendary investors at work today (John Bogle, Warren Buffett, Paul Tudor Jones, Ray Dalio, Carl Icahn, and many others), Tony Robbins has created a 7-step blueprint for securing financial freedom. With advice about taking control of your financial decisions, to setting up a savings and investing plan, to destroying myths about what it takes to save and invest, to setting up a “lifetime income plan,” the book brims with advice and practices for making the financial game not only winnable—but providing financial freedom for the rest of your life.

  1. The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey

The Total Money Makeover: Classic Editionwill show you how to design a sure-fire plan for paying off all debt—meaning cars, houses, everything, to recognize the 10 most dangerous money myths (these will kill you), to secure a big, fat nest egg for emergencies and retirement and more. There’s one sure way to whip your finances into shape. It’s the simplest, most straightforward game plan for completely making over your money habits and it’s based on results.

  1. The 4-Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss

The 4-Hour Workweek throws out the old concept of retirement and the rest of the deferred-life plan – there is no need to wait and gives every reason not to, especially in unpredictable economic times. Whether your dream is escaping the rat race, experiencing high-end world travel, or earning a monthly five-figure income with zero management, this is the blueprint for a step-by-step guide to luxury lifestyle design.
