So, what does it mean to feed your mind? And how do we go about doing it? It’s actually not as hard as we may think. There are so many different ways to get good, positive thoughts and ideas into our minds, that the most difficult part is choosing which way will work best with our individual, circumstances, personalities and lifestyles. Once we get that figured out, the rest is just a matter of implementing the habit or habits into our daily routines. The main objective is to be proactive by making the decision to work on it daily, even if we do it in small intervals. It doesn’t matter what method we choose, whether we read books or articles, listen to audio books or podcasts, watch videos of motivational or inspirational speakers, as long as what we’re reading, hearing watching, etc. is positive food for our minds. If reading is what works for you, start with even 10-15 minutes a day until you work up to 30 minutes a day, even if you read for 10-minute intervals three times a day. Listen to an audio book or podcast in the car on your commute to work or while running errands. It’s when we consistently do the small things on a daily basis that will we’ll see big results over time.

What you think and how you think will either set you up for success or hold you back from it. It all starts with feeding your mind with positive, uplifting thoughts and ideas through books, audio and video just to name a few. The more that you’re able to feed your mind in those ways, the more you’ll be able to guard your mind from negative, self-defeating thoughts.

The things you consistently fill your mind with will eventually overflow regardless of whether they’re positive or negative. Your thoughts will come out in the words you speak and the words you speak will determine the things that you do and the things you do will give you the results that you get. In the end, positive thoughts produce positive results, negative thoughts produce negative results.

“The more you feed your mind with positive thoughts, the more you can attract great things into your life.” – Roy Bennett

Of course, just because you keep yourself primed with positivity doesn’t mean nothing around you will go wrong. That is unrealistic, but the truth is that even though you may not be able to control everything that goes on around you, you can control how you react to what goes on around you, which starts with what you choose to feed your mind.

You’ll find that the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thoughts, so it only makes sense to pay close attention and make a deliberate effort to guard and feed your mind with good, positive thoughts on a daily basis. Success, including financial success will be up to you, by deciding how and what you will feed your mind with. Make it count!
